Stanley

I wrote a short, not too serious piece about Stanley the Stick at my first Fishtrap Writers workshop many years ago. To my amazement, Stanley showed up here today, 350 miles west of the Wallowa Mountains where he first appeared. He looks no worse for the wear. The only thing I remember of that writing was a comment I made on Stanley’s stick physique: “Stanley, you’re not very manly.” Check out his footwear on his front foot.
