The Slaughters

Our visitors arrived late last night so we had a bit of a late lie in this morning. After a bite to eat we drove to Lower Slaughter for a bit of a wander. It was a glorious day and we walked to Upper Slaughter and back before retiring to the pub in front of the roaring fire. Very nice indeed. 
Since it was still too early to head back we took a stroll around Bourton-on-the-water before coming back to the cottage. 

After dinner we played board games until nearly midnight which was a lot of fun. I can’t believe what a wonderful day we had. I just hope it continues that way tomorrow.
