A family evening

My first task of the day was to ring the pharmacy at 9.30 to see if they had received a delivery of lateral flow tests, based on advice given yesterday. The pharmacist answered straight away and said yes!!! I was still in my night attire, so B had the job of clearing the ice off the car, (not a happy bunny) and heading up to collect a box.

We were over to R & S’s for dinner tonight and wanted to check that we are safe to socialise with, as I’ve been in contact with several groups of people this week. I’ve had to wear a mask for long periods of time which has given me a sore throat by the evening. We both had negative tests which was good news. R is away with work for the next 2-3 weeks and I couldn’t bare to think that I might have picked up Covid and passed it on.

We had a lovely evening, a tasty meal and plenty of chat. The blip is a picture of S’s ice boat at home in Canada.

It has been a very cold foggy day, no fun driving tonight, but fortunately very little traffic!!
