Lovely to have the Revd Matt Simpkins with us for a while. And so we popped in to Ripon for the Hornblower Ceremony, which started in 886 when King Arthur granted the city it’s charter. He gave the city a horn for use by the Wakeman and the horn has been blown every evening since. 

The Hornblower this evening was Richard so I guess that makes him Rick Wakeman.
