Day 12 - Twa Bridges
I had a meeting in the Borders today and as usual, had a lunch, later than usual, at Leaderfoot Viaduct, This is its wee brother the Drygrange Old Bridge completed in 1780 (240 years ago). It carried traffic on the A68 until 1971 when it was replaced by a box girder bridge just over my head. It has some beautiful stonework.
