Multnomah Falls - Oregon Trip:1

We arrived in Portland late on the friday night and had a long drive to Seal Rock ahead of us the next day... but we could not resist driving an hour in the opposite direction first to visit the Columbia Gorge and see a few waterfgalls first!

This is Multnomah Falls. According to Wikipedia the combined the two drops on the fall have a height of 620 ft (189 m). It was a cool spring morning and there was A LOT of spray... This mist and spray made photography difficult at the bottom and pretty much impossible if you climbed up to the bridge.

This shot is a 102 second exposure to take some of the chaos and add a nice smokey feel to the water.
