Martin Mere

We had an exhilarating walk around Martin Mere WWT Reserve this afternoon. The sky was virtually cloudless and the light was tremendous. This photo looks over the mere towards surrounding fields where we have seen marsh harriers and barn owls on some previous visits. Not today though. We made the most of the vista views and a setting sun.
