Friday bonus (Day 2442)

After yesterday's late finish, I had a slower start to my morning, and it was nearly 9 by the time I was heading off to the first job of the day. It was a relatively straightforward alteration to the way a kitchen sink waste was piped, which should stop it from blocking up in future.
Next job was out in the wilds of Tankerness, and was a call out to check over a hot water cylinder. It needed a new expansion vessel, which meant a trip to town and back to collect one and get it fitted.
With all of that done, I was finished for the day (except for the paperwork), so headed home for lunch. After lunch I zoomed to Stromness to get a ride out on my hoss. I arrived at the yard just as my beautiful wife returned from a quick turn out on Jeeps before she headed off to work.
I had a really good ride on George. It isn't often I get out on my own, but I am now confident enough that I can deal with most of what George will throw at me on a ride. He was a little fresh today, but we got on fine.
I stopped at Mum and Dad's on the way home for coffee and to collect Sigyn.
It has been a good day. I suppose I should really so some paperwork now that it is dark.
