Head in the Sand!

I won't make any political references today re this photo collage.  A lot of dogs passing by had a look at what this determined dog was doing.  Some wanted to play but he wasn't interested.  Then the passing dogs just ran away, as you can see in the top left image.  He really was determined - the last bottom right mage shows how deep he got.  Could it be said that he was having a one-dog party? Digging himself into a hole?  At least it wasn't a 'gathering'.He was really determined!  His owner just sat around waiting, and the dog was still digging after I got too cold to watch any more.  I wonder if it is a British Bulldog - it would be very apt if it was!  I wish I'd remembered to walk the same way back along the beach to check how deep it was.

The day was much more cloudy and there was a cold wind.  The sunny skies lessened as the day went on.
