Bromiliad in Winter

This is a surprise. The divided mother plant of this bromiliad sent up four blooming shoots. It is only two months since I tore it apart and brought it indoor in a new larger pot.
The original huge plant is out in the unheated garage hibernating, I hope. I just could not toss it on the compost heap.
The little starter plants might be doing well in Virginia and Cornwall, I hope.
