In the Spotlight

Forecast was dry but total cloudcover - no sun.

However, the cloud did start to break up a little mid-afternoon.  So who were the winners and losers?  Certainly not Kirkcaldy which didn't get a direct glimpse of the sun while I was out. Not the next village, Dysart, either.
But . . .
The next one along the coast, West Wemyss, enjoyed almost continuous sunshine for about half an hour, though the hills behind and the sea in front remained in shadow.
