Book Club

I've collected in the books after Book Club to take them back to the library. We did not enjoy this book because the subject matter, Belfast during the Troubles in the 1970s was unsettling. A constant undercurrent of suspicion and violence. We did not like the writer's style either. But it provoked a lot of discussion and those of us who persevered to the end were pleased we'd read it. Those who had not read it were pleased also because they found out what happened. Milkman was killed, and believe me he deserved it.
