New Year - More Of The Same

Two weeks into the year and the ‘invitations’ to meetings are starting to arrive, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and next Monday of the coming week so far. It’s been my experience that during the pandemic the periodicity of meetings has reduced, with one of organisations we used to meet face to face quarterly, now it’s on line monthly, less happening but more to talk about!!
Having discussed it with Mrs S I am gradually withdrawing from most of the organisations I am involved in. Some have achieved what we set out to do, others my time has come to a natural end and others, younger will step up and although it’s still twelve months away my twenty year tenure as Falmouth RNA Chairman will come to an end.

I’ll be left doing a couple of things I enjoy, Commonwealth War Graves and the rugby club will be on my terms, not tied to routines or ‘must attend’ functions.
