I regularly see this great little car parked on Montgomery Street and I read that on this day, just over 100 years ago, the electric starter first appeared in motorcars. What a long way we have come since then or have we? My preferred mode of transport around the city is walking or cycling, however stats show that a the end of 201o there were 2.7 million motor cars registered in Scotland which has doubled in 30 years. A huge impact on our lifestyles but also the planet. The population is getting fatter and unhealthier so walking and cycling can do so much mentally, physically for us and help the world we live in.
