Nous Avons Fait du Shopping
After my usual early start with the quatrième INTER (and no technology working...I had to change rooms three times to find a computer that had a.) Flash Player installed b.) sound working and c.) connected to a projector...but hey, not complaining as this only happens to me on very rare occasions) I went shopping with Caroline!
Lovely to see her, and great to try to some shops that are a little bit outside of the centre of town. Not having a car makes it a lot harder to head out into the suburbs, and with most things you need right in the centre in miniature there isn't always the real need to go to the bigger shops. And before you ask, no I didn't buy these particular shoes (tempted slightly!), but I really liked the colour so decided to be a bit arty with DoF etc. I know, my run of portraits has come to an end, but I will probably find someone to annoy stalk pose for me tomorrow...still trying to get to grips with the Canon 60mm Macro in a way, it takes a lot longer to focus in lower light levels than the 17-70 Sigma I'm using today; so I am determined to get to grips with it!
We did buy some new things for Zoé (well, duh, new baby and all!)...but actually out of necessity rather than want, she has grown out of her month old baby clothes and now needs the next size up! Sylvère had also requested no pink as he was getting a bit tired of that colour...so finding new babygros became that little bit more difficult. Why is it that there is only the two set colours of blue and pink found in any quantity? We managed to find a few purple and green ones, so hopefully it will keep Sylvère happy! After shopped we headed back to Caroline's for a coffee, and to say hello to Sylvère and Zoé...I still can't get over just how calm a baby Zoé is!
Really nice day, although isn't it strange how much shopping takes out of you? Really tired now, perhaps an early night should happen tonight!
