End of an Era

The time has come to trade in the old kit for a whole new system.

For a good number of years now I have enjoyed using this D300. It has served me well and I've managed to capture some images that I have been real pleased with.

However recently I found that I was using it less and relying on my phone camera to capture images and whilst it was good, it lacked the creative control.

One of my friend's (and fellow Blipper) from work was chatting with me regarding his camera purchase... The mirrorless Fujifilm X-T20... A model that is now a couple of years old but in his words "A cracking piece of kit".

I liked the size of it and the features that it has so after a bit of "hummin and haaain", I decided to make the change.

It will be a bit of a steep learning curve but I'm looking forward to it.

So thanks again "Tempus Fugit" for the advice and the wee nudging that I needed to go for it.
