Went to see Lou after work, as, following her news on Tuesday she wanted to make lists. 
The list included :
Calling the undertakers herself to get the ball rolling.
Knitting toys for grandchildren she'll never meet....and recording herself reading the books she used to read to her girls.
Getting together as 2 families to watch Hot Fuzz for old times sake.
Buying a birthday diary for Simon.

 She also managed to amuse me with video clips of her talking nonsense as a result of her pain meds. She has such strength.
