Becky Falls
Day 95 / going home day
To break up the hellish long drive back home the boy and me stopped off at Becky Falls on Dartmoor National Park. Such a stunning place and we spent a good 3 hours on the trails, jumping on rocks, looking out for pixies (don't you know) and generally in awe of the scenery - to quote the boy 'just beautiful'.
There are also a few rescued animals and some exotic creatures for the kids to pet. Most impressed with the boy who stroked a Argentine Tegu (a big lizard) and tried to hold a boa constrictor. Wouldn't go near the tarantula mind.
This blip is of the main falls and I'd like to go back in the summer and autumn to see how it changes. This extended winter makes the surrounding scenery a tad barren.
