Not yet….

I posted for yesterday this morning and am doing today earlier than usual. Some readjustment needed.

The light was beautiful this morning. I was about to remove my amaryllis as they have mostly finished and look pretty shabby really, but I am sure there is a new bud in there. The sunlight through the window onto the wall plus the bud said wait.

The sun has stayed with us all day but the temperature dropped after 3pm as we walked back from town and that called for a lazy afternoon in the warm with my book.

Our neighbour, Little Legs mum, has had to put her house on the market. The agents are positive it will be sold very soon. We’re sorry. Over the last years we’ve developed a happy friendship, talking over the garden fence, through times of her being made redundant, catching Covid, walking Little Legs, her son’s engagement.. we’ll miss each other.
