Their time has come!

These tulips have served me well but as the petals start to drop it's time for them to be replaced.

I bought a new bunch of tulips this morning and they are now wrapped tightly in newspaper and sitting in a straight sided vase where they will remain till tomorrow and then, hopefully, they will stand tall and straight in the vase. I'm just doing what my mum used to do.
