Let sleeping dogs lie

The fact the ancient bag of bones sleeps all day wouldn’t be such an issue if she hadn’t decided recently that 5am was the new 7am and therefore the time she was going to howl the house down until she was released for a pee and breakfast.

We’ve tried additional layers in the bed, putting her to bed later at night, feeding her later in the evening and, as a final resort, supplying her with a heated mattress to lie on. All to no avail. Maybe she’s finally tired of sleeping next to a snoring pug?
