Sunset on the rail trail

With the southerly clouds breaking up, tonight it seemed a good idea to head back down to the lake side and capture the sun as it dropped to the horizon on the last day of daylight savings.

After pulling up the truck at the lay-by close to the Prices Valley cutting, I walked out along the rail trail to the bridge over the small creek and the raupo at the lake edge.
