January job

One of my first jobs in the mornings in January is to print out the schedules for the day of the various tennis tournaments which are being held in Australia in the lead up to the Australian Open. We shout ourselves a month of a streaming service (fabulous value for $25) and choose which matches we will watch with meals and in the evening. Occasionally we get a chance to watch some during the day at other than meal times, although that's more likely to happen during the Open itself.

The Djokovic fiasco continues!! I wish he had chosen not to come to Australia in the first place (we already have enough unvaccinated people) and I wish we had a remotely competent government. What a mess, or perhaps I should say what another mess.

Whatever will we do to keep ourselves sane in February?
