Houston Lodge

This week I am working in the Mat-Su Valley, scintilla country. I am staying at our small house on Nancy Lake.

There have been mostly gray sky days so I am out looking for some light. We stopped by one of the local road houses, or lodges found on the way home from work.

I was not dissapointed. This is the bar and grill of the Houston Lodge and Resturant with all it's Alaskan glamor and local art. Had the best chili burger and fries in the house, which is not saying much.
