Family Life

A year ago, Arlo arrived in our fam. An idea that we'd been mulling over for a while, suddenly became a reality very quickly. Despite being around dogs for all our lives, it was our first shot at it ourselves, and to break us in gently, we obviously had to choose a border collie! Jeezy peeps!

It's been a fab fun packed year, we've done so many things we wouldn't normally do, some we'd have rather not done, and it's been far more rewarding than we expected, and we expected a lot. His happy little face just cheers up us no end. It isn't always straightfoward, sometimes it's tough, the wee boy has lots to learn in the scary world out there and we have to take it slowly with some things, but the effort is worth it when we see the small improvements. On the other hand he can learn new things or work things out so quickly, quicker than us, what a clever boy.

So I thought it was about time we had an official family portrait, all 6 of us, Jess and Molly too (ok maybe I do have a photoshop subscription!). We luv ya Arlo, may you look at us with that expression for ever, and we'll do our best to do right by you. And one day you might decide to walk past my slippers without picking them up!
