Mud on Road

There is a large deep hole (roadworks) on the main road from Linton to Hadstock and the road is closed.  Therefore all of the traffic has been diverted onto a single track road and in unfortunate timing there has been a lot of rain. 

As a result the verge of the road is now a muddy mess where cars have had to pull over to allow other vehicles to pass.  There have been reports of cars getting stuck and a lot of frustration.

This sign (presumably put up to warn of tractor mud), is now very much an understatement.
