Tuesday with Frieda

Good to get back to our Tuesday routine with Frieda today. She was tired, having had a full day at nursery yesterday (her first day back after the Christmas break). Much time was spent in imaginary games, including the conjuring up of 'Monkey Island' in the central blue circle on our living room rug. The monkey resident was plied with biscuits and other forms of TLC.

Here, Frieda's briefly absorbed in making tiny chalk drawings on a set of blocks that I bought before Christmas, the surfaces painted with blackboard paint. It's a great toy, totally adaptable to the mood and age of the user.
We had a good time together, relaxed and chatty.
