My very new arrival....

This is my very new grandson....Having 2 older sisters, we thought this little fellow was to be a girl too. An amazing surprise. I am sharing this early photo, (he hadn't even taken a breath, so is still looking blue- all very normal), because a lot of people don't the the opportunity to see a very newborn. I consider my self so lucky to have seen 4 of my 8 grandies being born. This all happened last night.My daughter had him at home, in water- such a beautiful peaceful experience for everyone.
He was 9lb 14- a little larger than his sisters, and he is not dark- i like to think he may have inherited my colouring.....how special is that????
