Witch Hazel

On a trip to RHS Harlow Carr this morning the Witch Hazel was looking particularly good. There was certainly a lot of these fragrant shrubs there, which flower from January through to March. 
Witch hazel has a long history of medicinal use because of its anti-inflammatory properties for the treatment of skin conditions.
