Those were the days ......

A quarter of a century (!) has now passed since I became a mother. 

I'm not quite sure where the time has gone and there have certainly been many changes since then, both at a individual/family level and also on at a wider society level. 

I am now almost the same age my parents were when they became grandparents, which I find hard to get my head around. 

This outfit was one of the many gifts we received when A was born and was a particular favourite. It is stored in a box along with other other selected outfits, congratulation cards, newspapers and magazines from 1997. We must go through with A the next time she is up.
