The exam

We were at our friend Gemma's 30th birthday tonight. (Happy birthday Gem)

It was a fun filled & nostalgic night for 2 main reasons.

1. I can't believe Gemma is 30, She & Mark have been a life long friends . We first met 17 years ago when I was their youth worker.

2. The blip shows some personal statements from the young people I worked with in 1999. They were written after the young people performed 'the exam' by Andy Hamilton at the royal national theatre in London. ( a big deal for a small youth theatre from Buckhynd ) The statements were saved & shared tonight with a number of the original cast & crew who were at the party!

It is a real joy to have watched these young people grow into talented, professional & caring people & to have been on part if that journey with them .
