Thrifty gardener extraordinaire
Most years I dash about in early March buying a load of spring plants. Including last year as Waitrose put their plants for sale along the queue to get into the shop so I kept buying them. Not this year though! I have nurtured and cared for last years purchases, haven’t lost them in the general bed and lo, I have primroses, hellebores, aquilegia and more primroses all growing. Look at that, gardening by continuing last years plants instead of just buying a garden full of new ones again. What a turnup.
There might be some tulips somewhere too. Am very less confident about these as I forgot all about them for weeks until I found them in a bucket of water.
