Our office is above the local Christian bookshop and we all share the same entrance. I was first in today and I opened the door to find a flurry of notes that had been posted through the letterbox. On closer inspection, there was a wide variety of different currencies from places including Ethiopia, Canada, Germany and a range of Middle Eastern countries. I guess we’ll never know who posted them or why. Speculative stories welcome.

Ellie and I have been in a whirl of productivity today, maybe in a bid to stay warm. We escaped to school at lunchtime and I was grateful for the warmth and the excuse to leave the desk.
