They Are Back

We haven't seen the goldfinches since the big tree was chopped down, next door. They used to use it as a staging post, while they checked there was seed in the feeder and it was safe to fly down.  I really thought we had lost them to some other garden.
Today four of them flew in (only three can be seen in this shot, as one was at the back of the feeder).  I was so pleased to see them, they just had to be my blip for today.
