Splash Of Colour

It’s been another grey, damp, miserable day weather-wise but the mahonia provided a welcome bit of colour and was attracting a large number of bees and other flying things, despite it being January.

I’ve done very little other than put a final coat of paint on the re-plastered dining room wall, perhaps setting a new record (for me) for the longest time to finish a bit of decorating. The colour? Grey, of course.

First night of a new Keep Fit term tonight, the start of my 40th year of doing it. I’m nothing if not optimistic!
