Redshank - 6

I went for a stroll around Eastham Country Park today so that I could do the adventure lab geocache. It is probably at least three years since I was last there and I was amazed by how much damage had been done by Storm Arwen last year. 

There used to be a ferry across to Liverpool here and the country park itself  used to be an old Victorian Pleasure Gardens with a zoo, amusement park and ornamental gardens so it has an extremely interesting history. 

After completing the adventure lab I went on to the promenade to see if there was anything to photograph. Unfortunately I didn't have my binoculars but I did see this solitary redshank.
