Frosty Goldfinch

Everything is closed  today. The frozen roads mean no school or traffic. The plows have not even come out to clear the roads. It is +10ºF, but the ice accumulation yesterday got ahead of us.
The window frosted as I was watching the birds come to the feeder tray. So things look a little atmospheric today with the fluffy goldfinch waiting his turn.
Predictions from tomorrow on are high temperatures in the MINUS digits. I wonder if the ice will melt any time soon?
The sun is shining and the blue sky is clear of clouds.
