Ramblings in Life

How do you photograph the grand canyon? Its such a massive, monumental thing its hard for even the most exotic of lens to faithfully capture. Standing there at the rim, I felt almost like I was standing next to a large wall graphic at a museum - such is the difficulty in gauging the depth. The only thing that brings you back to sharp reality is taking a look directly down, and letting the sudden swooping sensation of vertigo remind you of your mortality . . .

I opted instead for a closeup, and it was really a "take you pic" of the canyon feature laid out beneath you.
