Lacy

An anniversary gift which I've been wearing almost continually since being given it by Mr H yesterday; I don't know whether it's the lacy texture or the silk/alpaca yarn, but something about it seems successfully to distract my neck from the nastier shingle-y sensations. And it's a whole lot nicer than chilli ointment. I think it's knitted in the same lace stitch that features in the Shetland shawls. Never tried anything as posh as silk & alpaca, though...
