Just perfect......

What a great day I have had! Lunch in The National Portrait Gallery restaurant, in the company of these special friends, and my birthday celebrations have begun, though there are a few weeks to go yet fortunately before the real thing. Service was great, the meals delicious, the wine perfect and I have been truly blessed and made to feel special!

We rounded off the day in Covent Garden and were wonderfully entertained by the excellent live musicians playing there.
