Shell art

I wanted to go for a long walk today; it was still breezy but not too cold. Cloud cover makes for a drab vista though; not great for scenic blips. The 'finishing post' (just before it rained) was a coffee shop. It's a local coffee company with orange branding so feels bright and warm inside, with interesting things to look at (not just the cakes) including this basket of beautifully painted shells.

A little hiccup this evening as I managed to splatter black candle wax on to J's brand new almost-white (expensive) wool carpet. I didn't think it would be ME that messed up the much debated 'risky' acquisition. I know there are a Google of ways of lifting the wax, but think I will take professional advice tomorrow.

And so to bed :)
