New Moon
A sliver of moon looks down on this jumble of abandoned buildings that were once a garage and car showroom. It’s soon to be a housing estate, for which no improvements to local infrastructure appear imminent. That’s always alarming for those of us living on the flood plain as it’s very close to our terrace.
The double apex building on the left has always interested me; concealed beneath the buddleia there is a date plaque showing 1899 (from memory), which is interesting - is it a very early garage facility? It certainly looks like one. If so who owned it? I must get down to the local archives…
Colour-wise today was all about vibrant blues and greens, very pleasing to the eye and brain. I hope you’ve had happy, safe weekends
