Is it safe?

I’m setting a felt hood up to steam, and then block over a hat block (see what happens next in extra) 

I don’t know what gave me the idea, but I steamed the felt under a bin bag, which contained the steam. It was so easy to shape, but I don’t know if it was the technique, or whether the fact that I was using a more expensive felt!
