Malham Cove

A lovely round, on a cold winter’s day with still some snow and ice around. We walked from Malham Village up to Janet’s Foss - applause here for the wild swimmer in the water! (First extra) Then onward to Gordale Scar (second extra) - some scenes of The Witcher filmed here - before going above the limestone pavement (third and fourth extra) - used in Harry Potter - and down into the cove seen in the blip. It’s our 40th wedding anniversary today - so lovely to spend the day in this special place - not so cold as it was this day 40 years ago - but changeable weather with some fleeting sunshine and the half moon high in the sky. The final extra shows the crepuscular clouds.
A simple but delicious roast dinner tonight with a glass of bubbly.
