Who Knew

They say that “every day is a school day” and today I learnt that there is an instrument called a Wick Trimmer.
Mrs S loves her scented candles and has been given some information by a colleague on wick trimming so as to allow the candles to burn evenly and snuffing out rather than blowing out - all good for the candles apparently.

I spent the morning out & about, two coffees with friends Roy and Carol, then two coffees, a pasty, Christmas cake and a tot of rum with Richard and Jackie, hard life I know.
