Bridgewater

My first visit to RHS Bridgewater, previously the Worsley New Hall estate near Salford which opened last year. As expected at this time of year it was looking a bit brown but nevertheless interesting to see the different elements of the gardens, how it was developed and to imagine how lush it will become in the summer. This shows part of the huge 11 acre walled garden with the Garden Cottage in the background where the head gardener lived in the 19th century
