Hymn Book and Bible

The Bible is my own and is about 50 years old.
The Hymn Book on the other hand was bought recently in a thrift shop and is a 1927 edition inscribed with the name of its owner, Helmi Nurmi. The exquisite hand crocheted slip on the cover was presumably to identify it from others in the household as the ladies made their way out to church.
