Winter Walk

Today's walk up the Pipe Track started out grey and gloomy so it was an ideal opportunity for some close up photography. There was a surprising amount of colour for a dull January day. By the time we got up to our turning point at Cantywheery Cottage the clouds had blown over and the sun came out to warm us up. There has been a lot of rain so there was a lot of water in the streams, and random extra waterfalls over dykes up the hillside.
