We are going on a...summer holiday

Back down to Somerset today to fetch my youngest son from his music course, although this time I had the company of my husband who drove. I was able to look around and notice the beautiful scenery as we whizzed through all the counties yet again (see blip on 2 April)

I noticed this beautifully restored VW camper van travelling near us on the M5, and as it drew close into the lane next to us I managed to open the car window and take a photo. I reminded me of summer holidays in days gone by, those nostalgic, heady summer days, Cliff Richard playing on the stereo...actually I was only a tiny baby then so who am I kidding?

It deserved a vintage effect so when I got home (after a 6.5 hours journey!) I spent ages faffing and learning how to do a vintage wash - voila, here it is!
