Surveying
The town council has decided in its infinite wisdom that what I need is a sidewalk. It doesn't matter that the house I live in is the last one of a tiny little village with less than 240 human inhabitants, and that next to it there are only fields and orchards - a sidewalk we'll get. Even if that means losing about a third of the front garden. And most probably the cherry tree as well.
George doesn't seem to approve of it. I am sure he and Fred will keep a close watch on the construction works.
